horse pics

On Friday I went to Davis to visit a friend, and while I was there of course I had to visit my babies at the Horse Barn and take pictures. So here are a few:

Kiss, because she's my favorite mare and she's pretty. If they ever sell her I am so going to buy her.

Martini

Sydney (the horse) & Nilla (the mule)

Cooper

And for no particular reason, some pictures of the newest Garrod horses (kept from the group of summer horses leased from Mexico):

Cabo

Charley

Corona

Cowboy

Pal

*sigh* Looking at your photos makes me wish I could take lessons again. Maybe after I find a good enough job to pay for them, I'll start up again when I'm up in the Bay Area. I used to love riding too and these guys look so sweet ^_^

Thanks for sharing the photos!

When you get here I'd be happy to take you out for a trail ride sometime :) You can see about taking lessons there as well:

Thanks for the link! :) I'm really looking forward to that since most of the stables around my parents home have all but closed now because of new housing construction.

That's a shame. Where do they/you live now?

I'm in Los Angeles and there aren't many stables. There used to be here in the San Fernando Valley but a lot of them closed and sold the land off because there weren't getting enough business to keep on going :-/
