Hey, don't feel bad. Darby's abscess in her left front foot is only now about done draining. Our farrier was up Thursday of last week and cut the last of it out and there was still a bit of drainage. Not much, thank heaven, but yeah, it was still there. So don't give up hope!

EDIT TO ADD: Durr...I meant to say she'd had this abscess since...well, since late October-early November of last year and it only got bad a couple days after she got to our place. Her breeder is going to boot her farrier over the hill because he told her it was "just a stone bruise" when it was an abscess all along!

Anyway. Hang in there with the soaks, he'll clear up asap.
