Star Trek Movie

Just got back from seeing Star Trek. I really enjoyed it! I thought it was fun and funny and has just enough action and really did a good job of introducing the characters. I thought all the new young actors did a great job; Spock and Scotty were my favorites. Overall a very entertaining movie.

Thank you to everyone for your opinions! I'm not big into the Star Trek tv shows or movies and would have passed this one right up if I hadn't heard so many great things about it. So thanks for that! =)

Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it too. I think it's done well enough that it could appeal to anyone...it was just one of the better movies I've seen lately in general.

This and Wolverine might just make me return from my self-imposed boycott on giving my hard earned cash to the Hollywood money machine. I'm almost ALMOST at the breaking point and just doing it and go see these. I haven't been to a movie theater in ages.... well, since the last Harry Potter film and someone else paid at the time. If I can con one of my cousins to "treat me" then I'm set and I can enjoy the movie(s) without feeling I cross the picket line. LOL

I just got back from watching it with my mom. She's the other Trekker in the family. Happy with it. Great casting. Nice work establishing the reason and 'differences' might exist. Looking forward to future movies with this cast. Mmmm... Uhura... *sweatdrop*
