Grr! Stupid LJ won't let me post more than a sentence, so long story short, on Thursday I badly sprained and/or broke (not sure yet, need more x-rays) my left foot on some uneven pavement and will be on crutches for a while.
Well, I don't, actually. She introduced herself to me on my lj, having surfed there from angelkatharine, I believe. And hence we are now joined in lj-friendship. :)
But I see from your f-list that you and I know a lot of the same folks. What happened was, I started dating ts4z, and he's a CMU grad. He introduced me to a lot of folks he went to school with, and voila, I know a whole bunch of people like bk2w, tshuma, and angelbob. (And once you know angelbob, you know a heckuva lot of people.)
Everybody knows everybody else, I guess. I met angelkatharine because her husband hosted a barbecue that I got invited to by virtue of the fact that I complained over on miss_mimsy's journal that I never got invited to parties. And that turned into meeting a lot of other people, and a few of the same people all over again.
Didn't mean to implode your world, though. Ahem...sorry for the inconvenience? ;-)
I went to middle school with Krissy(rightkindofme) and then high school with Vel-chan and Laura/angelkatherine. I met everyone else through dancing (even Noah/angelbob - yes there was a time when he went to dance events)
