It is awful, isn't it. :-( Poor babies are pushed way too hard, way too soon.
I have a nice mare, but she has some confirmation issues and allergies as well, yet so many idiots ask me when I am going to breed her. 1. I wouldn't risk my mare, 2. You are supposed to breed ONLY to improve the breed and my horse isn't even registered and 3. just because she has a uterus doesn't mean she should be popping out foals. The utter stupidity people show with 'breeding' is just insane.
