Definitely looking much better. Is the outside of his hoof wall straight? From the looks of it I would bet he has some nice flares going, so getting aggressive like you are is the right thing to do. You might consider (if it's dry) rasping the flares down as well, depending on his wall thickness. I finally did this for Deli's wonky foot that likes to flare/separate and it really helped!
With draft crosses the big issue is usually trying to coax the sole to be more concave than flat. But his general foot structure looks really good. Love those wide heels :)
