Well that was a pretty good earthquake just now. The report says it was a 5.6 about 15 miles north of here. That's the first time I've actually gotten up and gone underneath a table for an earthquake in many years. Heck, I think the last time I actually took cover from one was in Loma Prieta in 1989! The cats all totally freaked out, and one of them (most likely Serenity) looks to have peed all over the hallway and kitchen as she ran off. Poor kitty. I heard some crashing, but it turns out the only stuff that fell over were some of my horse decorations on top of my bookcase upstairs. Oh and some of my picture frames fell over as well. I can't get a hold of Josh; the phone just keeps giving me a busy signal (I assume from everyone else in the area trying to call people). Wonder if he was nearby.

Time to clean up...

Yoda and Yoko were acting odd before, and Lennon was chill. Now they're all cool, and Yoko and Lennon, for the first time, are letting me cuddle them to me. Lennon also keeps climbing on top of Yoda and pawing him. In Yoda's infinite coolness, he's putting up with it.

How are kitties now?

The LP quake was terrifying.
