While I've decided I'm fed up with not having a horse, Josh has decided he can no longer stand living without a motorcycle. He sold the two he had about a year and a half ago because they weren't doing his back any good. He'd been looking at a more ergonomically-friendly blue Suzuki V-Strom sportbike, and went out with his friend last weekend to get a good deal from a bike dealer his friend knows. Instead he came home with

A Ducati Multistrata. Apparently he got some kind of fantastic deal on what he calls "the Porsche of motorcycles" (I guess the one he'd been planning to buy was more like a Camry?), something he normally would probably not be able to afford for many more years.

So now we have this living in front of the washer and dryer in our garage. All I can say is I'm happy he's happy. =D

My fiance would drool over that.. :) Ducati is a really good brand.

Unfortunately my fiance cannot have a motorcycle. If he brought one home I would hide the keys. lol.

I'm glad that the mutual obsessions are so complimentary...

And that is a nice bike. Oooh...

You're welcome to a ride the next time you're down here ;-)

When I heard he got a Ducati, I was shocked, that's not a cheap bike to get and for what I heard he got it for, he really got a good deal. I'm insanely jealous of him, both for the bike and the deal he got on it.

Ah, well, if you can show me how to turn it on and slowly go around a parking lot or something, that would be great fun. I'd have no idea what I was doing, though. :)

I think he meant you could ride on the back of it behind him. I don't think he'd ever let a non-rider touch it!

Right, riding on back. I've got a spare helmet or two we can put you in =)

That could be fun, too. Well, somewhere without much traffic. After losing a friend to a motorcycle accident, I tend to be rather cautious of them and cars.

I've never gotten men and their toys...

Things are always more fun when you can share a love of them with other people. :)
